Club news for everyone
Your Club Needs Your Help on 1st March
On Sunday 1st March RPAC are hosting both a MABAC fixture and a Border League fixture in Priory Park. We are still short of quite a few volunteers. It will not be possible to host the races unless we fill all the positions. The MABAC race starts at 10:00 and the Border League fixture starts at midday. For seniorrunners who want to take part in the MABAC race it will be possible to help either with the set up or clear up, or to help with the Border League races. For parents of junior runners who want to watch their children in the Border League races it would be really great if you could help out at the MABAC race. If you can help please let us know by emailing

An Update From The Chair
Malcolm sent out an update earlier today, the full text can be read here.
Saturday 29th February Reigate Priory AC Parkrun Tourism @ Nonsuch
On Saturday 29th February 9AM we're at Nonsuch Parkrun.
We will meet at 7:45AM at Reigate College (Rushworth Road entrance) to car share. (The car park will be locked afterwards until our return.)
If more convenient to you, please just make your own way and we'll see you there.
All seniors, parents and accompanied juniors are welcome. Please run in club vest if you can, and bring some money for refreshments afterwards.
It'd be great to see you! You just need to turn up.
The next Parkrun Tourism event after Nonsuch doubles up as an RPAC Grand Prix event and will be held in Worthing on 21st March. Full details to follow soon.
Couch to 5K

Training this coming Saturday 22nd February
A final decision on whether the Saturday morning 9:00am session in Priory Park on Saturday 22nd February will go ahead will be made later in the week and communicated directly to participants.
Junior K2 dates
These are now confirmed for the rest of 2020. There will be no visits to K2 in Crawley in January or February. The bookings we have are March 24, April 21, May 19, June 23, July 28, Sept 22, Nov 10, Dec 8.
All sessions start at 7:00pm, last 1 hour and are open to all Junior and Academy members.
Storm Dennis Didn't Deter RPAC
The vagaries of Storm Dennis didn't dampen the spirits of a determined team of RPAC stalwarts who set out from the YMCA on Sunday. It must have been difficult to chose appropriate footwear...road shoes or flippers?
Further from home Kate Knight completed the Tunbridge Wells Half Marathon. Despite having to wade through some deep puddles and contend with the rain and wind (and of course, the hills) Kate still managed to shave an incredible 42 minutes of her previous best for this course, finishing in 2:53:58.
Usha Stevens continued her run of PBs and finished the Valentines 10K in Chessington in 1:00:27, over 7 minutes quicker than the same event last year.
Mike's in the news
A photo of our very own Mr Pocock appeared in The Guardian on Saturday 16th February (you need to scroll down a bit). We don't know the name of the horse.
