"Good Old Fashioned Cross Country" - The Holly Run is an annual series of eight cross country races designed to suit all age groups for both club runners and fun runners!  Held under UK Athletic rules, on a Sunday just before Christmas, the Holly Run is completed wholly within Priory Park, Reigate, Surrey RH2.   Up hills, down steep down hills (except U11 and U13), cambers, parkland, woodland and everything nature can throw at you; this good old fashioned cross country route is why runners come back to join us year after year!

The perfect opportunity to combine keeping fit with Christmas shopping in our gorgeous town of Reigate (especially at our sponsor's 28 High Street store, SimplySports).  Just as last year we have the more energetic route for the women, covering 4 miles of this undulating course!

The Holly Run takes place in Reigate’s Priory Park, Surrey RH2 7RL

RAIL: Reigate Railway Station is less than 10 minutes walk away, with Redhill Station about 2 miles away.  Reigate BR station is on the Reading to Gatwick line and connects to the London and Brighton services at neighbouring Redhill. Walking from Reigate station, head south towards Reigate town centre through Tunnel Road which is closed to traffic.

BUS: Buses 32, 420, 435 and 460 stop in Reigate town centre. Please check bus times directly with the bus companies.

CAR: The A25 (east/west) and A217 (north/south) meet in Reigate and traffic circulates via a one-way system. If you are arriving via the M25, exit at junction 8 and follow the signs for Reigate Town Centre via the A217, turning left into Bancroft Road. For the main entrance to Reigate Priory, turn left at the Morrison's traffic lights, and after about 75 metres turn right into Bell Street car park.

The nearest car park is in Bell Street (2 minutes walk). Additional parking is available in Bancroft Road and Upper West street car parks. Charges are made for Sunday parking. Parking in Morrison’s is for shoppers only, and is limited to a strict two hour limit.

Sadly, this is totally out of our control at RPAC, and as the race is held in the middle of winter, be prepared for snow, rain, wind and sunshine! Closer to the race date, do watch the weather forecast and plan to dress appropriately - and don't forget that you can always come and warm up in RACE HQ and enjoy the delights of our cakes and drinks!

If adverse weather conditions are likely on race day, we will update you via this page as to the status of the race.

But do remember...this is cross country!
