What is the Holly Run?

The Holly Run is an annual open cross country event for all ages held on a Sunday in mid-December, this year on Sunday 20th December 2009.

What races are there?

There are seven races in all, for men and women as well as boys and girls of all ages.

The races are as follows . . .

    Race 1 11:00am - Under 11 Girls
    Race 2 11:20am - Under 11 Boys
    Race 3 11:40am - Under 13 Girls / Under 15 Girls
    Race 4 12:10pm - Under 13 Boys
    Race 5 12:40pm - Under 15 Boys / Under 17 Boys
    Race 6 1:10pm - Women: U17G/Jun/Sen/Vet
    Race 7 1:40pm - Men:Junior/Sen/Vet
Please note that date of birth is at the 1st September 2009 to ensure that school classes run the same race.

Where does the Holly Run take place?

The Holly Run takes place in Reigate's Priory Park.

Reigate railway station is approximately a 5 minute walk away.
Buses 32, 420, 435 and 460 all stop in the town centre.

If you drive, the nearest car park is in Bell Street and is a 2 minute walk away. There is also ample additional parking in the Bancroft Road or the Upper West street car parks.

How can I enter for the Holly Run?

You can enter the Holly Run 2009 by downloading, printing and filling in the entry form, which can be found here.

If you would like to enter a number of runners then you may prefer to do so using our block entry system. There are two entry forms, the first form HTML DOC requests information regarding the contact details of the person who will receive all correspondence; the second form HTML DOC requests details of all the runners.

What other events do Reigate Priory Athletic Club host?

We also host the Summer Evening 10K, which is an annual 10 km (6.2 miles) race held on a mid-week summer evening in mid July.

The start and finish are within Reigate's Priory Park. The race heads out on rural roads into the countryside to the south of Reigate, and finishes with a circuit around the park lake.
