The last Lily B League meeting of this year took place on Saturday at The David Weir Athletics Stadium in Sutton and a small contingent from RPAC acquitted themselves well with plenty of first places.

Competing in A stream events, Lucy Dénecé won the U13 1500m and also the Javelin with a throw of 21m 46. Katie Mac won the U17 Shot with 9.54 and was 2nd in the 80mH. Eva Peters won the U13 long jump with 3m 66 and was 2nd in both the 100 and 200m races. Lily Cain-Jones won the U15 Javelin with a throw of 27m 67 and Francesca Manrow won the U13 Discus with a throw of 16m 71.

Alessia Turner finished 2nd in the U13 70mH and won the B string long jump with a leap of 3m 66. Lily Woodhams picked up good points for the team with 2nd place in her U13 100m race and 3rd place in the 800m. Lily also jumped well in the long jump.

U11's Emily Sheard and Eve Goulding both performed well in the 75m and 150m sprints with Emily also putting in a good jump in the non-scoring long jump competition.

Thanks go to Kirsten Mackison for all the organising of our Lily B participation throughout the summer, and her management of the team at each of the matches. Also to the officials from RPAC and the parents and coaches who helped them. Special thanks go to Fiona Gent who spent the whole afternoon collating the results for the meeting.
