22 RPAC runners turned out for the Ranelagh Harriers Richmond 10K on Sunday 16th June. This race is part of the Surrey Championships and the Surrey Road League as well as our own Club Championship.

The coursed is essentially flat and is mostly comprised of two laps along the towpath and through a housing estate. The finish is tough with about 400m on grass which was quite slippery on the day - I certainly felt like I was going backwards.

The RPAC men's champion was Fran Dunham who finished in 4th place overall in  33:36. The ladies' champion was Ginevra Stoneley who finished in 151st position, 17th lady overall and 7th in her age category in 40:28.

RPAC men came third in this leg of the Surrey Road League and RPAC ladies came 11th. The men's team is in first place in the league and the ladies team is in 12th place.

In the Surrey championships Fran Dunham was the first VM40 runner.
